My dream
The wrath of God
Pierced me relentlessly
So deliberate, it had a rhythmn
That resonated my shrieks
And cries of anguish
It carved and etched guilt
Into my husband’s face
I wrestled with Providence,on my back
Fighting a losing battle
With every tear and rip
I damned myself
With every constricting grip
I gained us
I redeemed you, as you glided out,
With ease of limb
And nobility of cry
You proclaimed our victory
To the world
You swamped me
With all of you
Only you
As you clenched my heart
With those fingers that melt mine to
